Becky McNeese

Becky, a Johnson City native, grew up in the Westerly Heights Baptist Church.  At nine years old, she was saved and has always been very active in church work.  She began singing in church when she was five years old, and the first opportunity to lead in singing was at age thirteen for VBS.  In 1980, Becky graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1980 with a B.S. in Music Education, with concentration in vocal music and a B.S. in English.   Since then, Becky directed music in Community Baptist Church in Jonesborough, Fort Robinson Baptist Church in Kingsport, and Shallow Ford Missionary Baptist Church in Erwin.

Becky married Jerry McNeese in 1984, and they have made their home in Jonesborough, Tennessee.  They feel very blessed with their children: their son, Jeremy and his wife, Meredith, and their daughter, Annie and her husband, Joshua Thurman.

Becky is also an instructor of writing at Northeast State Community College.  Other interests are enjoying various types of music and musical productions, teaching Bible lessons, writing, and storytelling.
